- Single ply shells, constructed with reinforcing rings and internal bracing, are light and resonant and project well with the character of exotic and domestic woods.
- 6-ply maple shells are modern and bright, and can be veneered inside and outside for subtle variations in resonance and tone. These can be constructed with or without reinforcing rings.
